I am a book.

You're A Prayer for Owen Meany!

by John Irving

Despite humble and perhaps literally small beginnings, you inspire
faith in almost everyone you know. You are an agent of higher powers, and you manifest
this fact in mysterious and loud ways. A sense of destiny pervades your every waking
moment, and you prepare with great detail for destiny fulfilled. When you speak, IT
SOUNDS LIKE THIS!

Take the Book Quiz
at the Blue Pyramid.

DOES IT REALLY?

I have to tell you: I loved this book. It is one of my all-time favorites.

And I have a confession to make. First time through the quiz, I was Watership Down, a book I could never get through (not even a chapter). I backed up and chose "Armadillo." And here you are.

Ok, I have to say I have taken the quiz 4 times now and gotten 4 different books (all written by men!), and 4 different sets of questions... I am highly suspicious...

It's one of my all-time favorites, too.

Well, I just took the quiz, which said I was that Hitchiker's to the Galaxy or whatever book AND that I'm "funny and entertaining." FALSE. Oh, well. I think you're a better book!

Well, of course I'm Owen Meany, too. The armadillo does it.

Got the quiz from John Shuck and ended up with the same book. Didn't even think about the connection to the armadillo til gannet girl mentioned it!

Why couldn't I be The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

Thanks for the connect through John!

This is, hands-down, my favorite book. I have given away well over a dozen copies. Gorgeous.

I love John Irving. Good for you.

Depending on one particular answer, I'm either one or the other of two novels by Gabriel García Márquez! Does that make me a magical realist?
