OK, Cheese, since you brought it up...
I gave Larry two birthday presents: tickets to a Duncan Sheik concert (which weren't too expensive at all) and a nice crisp bill bigger than anything I'd every carry around in my wallet. Assuming, you know, he'd take his buds to a bar and... do that legal thing.
I called him this morning to sing (croak... I have a cold), asked if he'd checked his mail, and he said, "Oh, yeah, thanks so much mom." I said, well, have fun on your birthday honey. He told me he's not going out until Saturday (he has early classes every day). "But," he said, "I've already bought some great stuff with the money." I'm thinking, Great stuff? Like Jack Daniels?
Nope. Two video games.
That's my boy.
Oh, and DCup?? I got married when I was 21.
I remember.
Mags: so did I! (get married at 21, I mean.) No wonder we are both so youthful, and have grown-up kids!
